Tulsa Pools and Repair did fantastic work on our saltwater pool! They repaired a leak in a return line, along with replacing two skimmer boxes which had settled, removed old grout, installed new caulking, refinished the entire deck, and applied Cool Deck coating. The deck stays much cooler now, and everything looks and functions perfectly. Professional crew, great communication, and excellent results. Highly recommend them!
Rust comes to the surface of the pool when the rebar is exposed to moisture. To fix that, we will need to chip back the plaster and gunite and cut back the rebar. Then, we add a rust inhibitor and seal the hole with new plaster. Depending on the plaster color, a patch may not always match the existing plaster, but we do our best to get the colors as close as possible. The only way to guarantee a seamless appearance is to re-plaster the entire pool.
No. The first 12 inches around the pool is called coping. We can cut out the coping and replace it without touching the rest of your deck. In fact, many people choose to update their coping to give their pool a new facelift without having to spend the extra money on replacing their entire pool deck.
Generally, a new pool build takes approximately 8-16 weeks, depending on project details. However, we are hesitant to guarantee hard deadlines because there are many factors that WILL impact this timeline. For instance, weather conditions, product back orders, permitting and inspections, and unexpected complications all pose their own time requirements. Even with the best planning and organizational skills, some things are simply out of our control. We would love to say that you will be swimming in three months; however, we feel it is better to be completely upfront with you on potential issues that can delay the building process. Tulsa Pools and Repair pledges to do our very best to be efficient and timely in each and every project. We do not advise planning parties until your project is completely finished.
If you continue to fight algae in your swimming pool, it may be time to re-plaster. When plaster ages, it
develops cracks, pits, and rough spots that algae will settle into, preventing removal with regular
cleaning and creating the ideal environment for algae to thrive.
